Lompoc is changing for the better of all!
It is a privilege to be your Mayor. Together, we’ve built a safer, stronger community, one that prioritizes the well-being of ALL our residents. I’m proud to say that under my leadership, we’ve reduced crime and enhanced public safety by ensuring that our police department is fully staffed and both the police and fires departments are fully equipped with the tools they need to protect our families and neighbors. Protecting Lompoc is more than just a responsibility—it’s my top priority.
I believe that a thriving community starts with solid foundations, which is why I’ve championed investments in our parks, infrastructure, and streets. Because of these efforts, we’ve made significant improvements to Ocean Ave, Beattie and Pioneer Parks and more, but our work is far from over. I’m committed to continuing these improvements, ensuring that Lompoc grows and evolves in ways that benefit future generations. We deserve a city where families can thrive and businesses can prosper, and I’m dedicated to making that vision a reality.
Unfortunately, when Mr. Mosby served on the council, I witnessed him repeatedly vote against critical measures that would have improved our quality of life. Even more troubling, he spread misinformation regarding budget, staff, police and fire. Our city deserves leaders who will support us with truth and transparency.
I am encouraged to see the younger generation taking an interest in public service, and I believe fresh ideas are critical to our city’s growth. However, leading a city as complex as Lompoc requires experience and a deep understanding of our community’s needs. Ms. Perez, while enthusiastic, hasn’t actively contributed to our community's development, and she is not yet prepared for this vital role.
Lompoc is not just where we live—it’s our home. Every decision I’ve made as your Mayor has been deeply personal, rooted in my love for this city, and my desire to build a community we are ALL proud of. One where families feel safe, businesses succeed, and future generations have a strong foundation to build upon.
A vote for me is a vote for a safer, stronger Lompoc. We’ve accomplished a lot together, but there’s still work to be done. I’m ready to keep fighting for our city’s future and lead us toward a renewed and improved Lompoc. I’d be honored to have your support to continue this journey.
Thank you for your vote on November 5, 2024. - Jenelle
